Orthopedic Massage is a type of massage system used during injury rehabilitation and recovery which focuses on muscles, connective tissue, ligaments, tendons and nerves surrounding joints to help alleviate symptoms experienced from muscular skeletal conditions and injury resulting from any number of activities such as work, sport or accidents. The aim of orthopedic massage is to relieve or reduce pain, stimulate tissue repair, improve soft tissue injury, while restoring movement patters, range of motion and joint function.
